Tip of the Day: De-Skunk a Sprayed Pet

It's that time of the year again that if you have a pet outdoors there's a chance he may get sprayed by a skunk. If this happens (I hope not for your sake!) mix 1/4 cup of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of liquid soap, and 1 quart of hydrogen peroxide. Work this into your pet's fur being VERY careful to keep away from his eyes. The peroxide will neutralize the sulfur compounds that are in the skunk's spray and the other ingredients will leave your pet smelling clean.
