Devilishly talented, Gin Wigmore is already a star in Australia and her native New Zealand. She went on to win an international music contest and it's easy to hear why. On "Devil in Me," she comes on like a rockabilly Amy Winehouse, a roadhouse vamp with serious bite. Elsewhere on Gravel & Wine, Wigmore spins elements of Florence + The Machine, Feist and Paloma Faith into the kind of mainstream-goes-indie sound Lana Del Rey favors. Expect big things.
