But this 2013 tune shows that old smoothie Boz Scaggs still sounds much as he did on 1976 yacht rock landmark Silk Degrees. Taken from his latest platter, Memphis, Scaggs recorded the tune at Al Green's studio and used renowned sidemen, such as Spooner Oldham and Ray Parker, Jr., to get the relaxed Southern soul vibe just right.
