Westhost, which is part of the UK2 group is doing a pretty sweet promotion. they have a facebook page with more details; but basically if you have a .edu email address you can get free hosting for a year. they don't even collect credit card information so it isn't even one of those gimmicky things where they reel you in and try and steal a few bucks from you because you forgot to cancel.

They even include tutorials on how to create a website so any joe can figure it out.
