Redbox Offering Free Rental Thursday In Celebration Of Milestone

Thursday is a good time to plan a movie night. Redbox is offering free rentals after the company says it rented its 2 billionth disc.

In celebration, Redbox officials say theyre giving away a free, one-night DVD rental on March 8.

Just 18 months ago, we rented our one billionth DVD and we couldnt be more excited to celebrate this remarkable second rental milestone with our customers, said Scott Di Valerio, interim president of Redbox.
