For your kitten or puppy, with a starter kit. And For your adult cat or dog, when you redeem weight circles for checks. While the adult food requires a purchase to get the free food, the kitten or puppy food is free with no purchase required.
I was trying to find any kitten freebies for my niece who got a kitten for Christmas. I came upon this and realized that between my sister and I, we could register our household for the Pro Club Cat program. I requested a Kitten Chow starter kit and a Pro-Plan kitten starter kit, and the kits arrived Friday. Each kit came with a handy folder with files to store medical records, photos, etc. There are medical charts included to record vaccinations, surgeries, etc. Each kit came with a coupon for a free 3.5 lb bag of kitten food. Kitten Chow came with one kit, Pro-Plan Kitten food came with the other. There is also a $2 off coupon in each kit as well. You do have to qualify, this is the qualifications from the website:
Purina Pro Club said: If you personally care for 5 or more dogs, 5 or more cats or breed one litter per year, you're eligible to join the Pro Club Inner Circle. Please note that Pro Club is a program for individual breeder/enthusiasts, not institutional organizations, such as rescue groups, humane societies or animal shelters. It's free and easy to sign up. Just fill out the form below, click "Next" and start taking advantage of the many benefits.
The club also provides a points program, save the weight circles from bags of Purina food and earn points that you can redeem for checks that can be used towards future food purchases and other items. So you could get free food as well in the future. Hopefully this will be useful to those of you with large numbers of dogs and/or cats living in your household.
