Bargainist Gift Guide: Drowsy Drivers
Half of American adults consistently report that they have driven drowsy and one in five say they have actually fallen asleep behind the wheel during the previous year. That’s according to National Sleep Foundation surveys. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that 100,000 crashes are caused by sleepy drivers resulting in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries and billions in damage. Drowsy Driving Prevention Week runs from November 6-12 so celebrate by keeping the drivers in your life wide awake.
