What is memorable or momentous about this particular back-to-school season?

Wow this question could have me cheering or crying in a split second...it's actually my first back to school season as a mom! That's right, my son is heading to preschool in just a few short weeks. It feels a little surreal because he doesn't have a true back to school list and were not buying new clothes or a new backpack. I do however wrestle with those same emotions most moms do as they wave goodbye to the school bus. This will be the first time I have left him with someone I don't know for an extended period of time when I am not in the same building. That's a hard thing to swallow. Maybe you seasoned moms can help, will it get any better as the days go by?

If I let myself stop and think about my son in preschool I start to wonder, will he behave, go potty when he needs too, throw a fit when they put the toys away for lesson time? For the first time I really have to have some blind trust that he will be okay and everything I have taught him will shine through; not just the bad but the good qualities he posses.
