Southwest is celebrating its 40th anniversary with discounted flights, but only through Thursday. In commemoration of its 40th year, the low-cost carrier is offering short-haul flights from $40 one-way; $80 one-way for routes 451 to 1,250 miles apart; and $120 one-way for long-haul trips exceeding 1,251 miles.
