Summer reading program in Charlotte
 Do you live in the Charlotte area? Kids can discovery the pleasures of reading and win prizes too, through Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's Summer Reading Programs. Summer Reading runs June 15 – August 10. Kids go to a library, get a chart to keep track of their reading, and bring it back in to get prizes.There are separate programs for kids under 4, 4-11, and 12-18, as well as an online reading club for adults.Prizes for teens include the valuable overdue fine waiver coupon, treats from Wendy's and Jason's Deli, backpack, and ear buds. I couldn't find the prizes for younger kids but I'm certain they are equally appealing.(Thanks Charlotte On The Cheap) |
