A Mom Making a Difference: I'm a member of a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group in my area. We meet twice a month and have great speakers, crafts, food and fellowship. We also have the experience of our "Mentor Mom." Our Mentor Mom is there at every meeting to hold babies, pray, share, provide insight and so much more. She no longer has preschoolers but she's had 8 and has walked the road us newer moms are walking many time over. It's been very comforting to have a veteran mom and wife in our midst. I have had the opportunity to learn from her experience. Even though she has other commitments and an older child at home our Mentor Mom carves out time every two weeks and surrounds herself with Mothers of Preschoolers. I can only hope that she knows how important her sacrifice of time is to each and every mom in our group!
