So ... this might belong in Contests/Sweepstakes (mods, feel free to move it if that is your call), but as you get at least a $5 gift card, it also seems like it belongs in free stuff.

BJ's brewhouse is doing a holiday "suprise promotonal card" promotion. If you buy a gift card at BJs of $75 or more, you get one. It will most likely be a $5 gift card, but could be up to a $1000 gift card or a trip to Scotland.

Since it is a contest, though, you do not have to purchase. You can send a card (and SASE) to BJs and get a card sent to you. In fact, you can get a whole bunch sent to you (but can only use one per visit, and they have to be used by the end of February).

So, essentially, you get at least a $5 promotional card for BJs (have to use before February 28th) for the cost of two stamps (one to send your stuff there, and the stamp on the self-addressed stamped envelope). To find out what you have, you have to take the card into BJ's and have them swipe it at the front by a manager, before being seated (but you do NOT have to use it at that time).

You can receive a Card, while supplies last, without a purchase by printing your name, complete address (no P.O. Boxes allowed), phone number and date of birth on a 3x5 card and mailing it, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, in a properly stamped outer envelope, to BJs Holiday Surprise Promotional Card Request, 35610 Mound Road, Dept. 900, Sterling Heights, MI 48310 postmarked by 12/27/10, and received by 1/5/11. No mechanical reproductions allowed. Each request must be mailed in a separate, properly stamped outer envelope.
