This is a boutique pedal company. I have rarely seen a boutique class pedal show on the Stupid Deal of the Day.

This pedal is discontinued thus the significant price drop.

This pedal probably wasn't popular enough, which really doesn't relate to how "cool" it sounds and is more a symptom of the bloated pedal market for the last 5 years combined with their more boring design motif compared to other currently popular brands like Catalinbread and Earthquaker Devices.

It's hard to make it when there are 100 copies of the standard 5 overdrives of all time. (TS, Klon, DOD 250, Blues Driver, OCD)

This pedal is about 100x better made than any $100 pedal you are gonna see. This does not however mean you will like it.

If you want a nice overdrive, try it. If you hate it return it.

These two guys will convince you this pedal is awesome even if you will later hate it. They could play a 2-string guitar plugged into a cardboard box and it would sound like a 59 gold top through a marshall stack.
