From the reviews this is pretty decent but if you get one that is noisy just send it back, it is defective. They are true bypass meaning it is out of the signal when it is off.

Sure a Snark is a bit cheaper depending on which one you get, but try using those in a loud place with lots of bass in the air you will find out their weakness quickly.
