Easily convert a standard 6 in. incandescent recessed housing into an energy-efficient floodlight with the Philips LED Retrofit Downlight. Class-leading light distribution comes courtesy of a patented faceted optic diffuser, throwing off a soft, wide beam ideal for general room lighting in kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms or anyplace where exceptionally long-life, bright lighting is desired. Using just 9 watts of power, this lamp draws 86% less energy than a standard 65 watt BR30 incandescent flood bulb while producing 620 lumens of light output. It's equipped with integrated trim and a medium-base socket adapter that allows you to quickly replace the bulb and trim of your existing housing for a sleek, contemporary upgrade. Fully dimmable, it retains its soft white color temperature (2700K) even when brightness is throttled back.
