This is not a Gaming System so lets not even go there

its a 65watt i7-6700 not a 95watt i7-6700K which runs hotter and faster
K Version chips are known for overclocking.


It comes with 16gb of DDR3 ram not DDR4

It comes with a Graphics Card but its not the best for Gaming

A few drawbacks

The Case and Power Supply are propitiatory
I don't know if the mother board is full size or custom

Drive Expansion is VERY limited it can take one 3.5 or two 2.5 drives
I don't know about you but I don't buy 2.5 drives for desktops
but from what I understand its not going to be able to hold your SSD and the 2TB

The system also could really benefit from an SSD drive and the ram is not the fastest

But here is the thing

If you need a desktop for your home to do your business work and maybe play a game when you're stressed out then this is an ok system.

The CPU power demands are low so the cooling requirements will be lower than a gamer system.

If you need something to browse the web, do your taxes and your home related things on then this is not bad.

Is it the best system in the world? no

Is it a decent system you can live with for 3 to 5 years .. yes

And again its not a gamer and upgrades could be difficult

The actual CPU alone is about $300 right now that leaves $280 for the sum of the other parts.

I don't know I am thinking about it but the drive space has me concerned as i will need to upgrade it
to probably an SSD for the OS and yank one of those $120 5TB externals out of a case for storage
if it had a full sized case with 2 spots for drives I would probably get it now...
I can swap out the case but will the hardware mount easy in a standard small tower? I don't know

would like to hear your opinions on Dell Cases and hardware.
