Home Depot has the Makita 18Vdrill orimpact driver kits for $99 each. Amazon has already PM'ed both prices and they're easy to find by searching.

Each kit comes with the bare tool, 18V 3AHr battery, and charger. For comparison, the charger is$58 on Amazon , the battery alone is$99 on Amazon , the bare drill is$71 on Amazon , and the bare impact driver is$80 on Amazon .

For those who have older Makita tools and are wondering about battery compatibility,this site sums it up nicely. There are certain things you can look for on your older tools that will tell you if these batteries will work with them. I've had this drill for about a year now and couldn't be happier with it. The batteries last forever and they charge fast when they do run out. I'm talking 22 minute charge time on the 3AHr battery. I'm going to grab one of the impact drivers tonight on the way home from work and am debating on picking up an extra drill just to have around.
