I have always schlepped my clubs along with me on my golf trips until this one where I have to make two non-golf stops along the way. I looked up FEDEX and UPS to ship the clubs and there prices were very high due to 'dimensional pricing'. Came acrossSHIPSTICKS and found the prices to be more reasonable - $40 for short trips to $65 for cross country (one-way) including $1,000 insurance. They pick up at your home, a golf course or you can drop them off at Fedex or UPS (they tell you which one). On the receiving end you can send them to any golf course, hotel or a residence. Unless you are flying Southwest, this is about the baggage fee and you eliminate the uncertainty and hassle of the airline shipping experience.

I took a few days to make a decision and they started sending me emails with codes for discounts. (Couldn't find any codes posted online). The latest code that I eventually used GOLFTRIP (capital letters) is good for 15% off.
