Apple to Replace Faulty iPhone 6 Plus Cameras
Filed under iPhone
Apple is offering to replace iPhone 6 Plus iSight cameras that take blurry photos for free. The affected phones were sold primarily between September 2014 and January 2015. (Enter your phone's serial number on this page to see if your phone is eligibile for this service.) Prior to replacement, you can either take your phone to an Apple store or Apple-authorized service provider for examination, or have it assessed by Apple technical support. They recommend backing up your data before getting the replacement, and advise that certain cosmetic damage to your phone may need to be repaired, which could come at a cost.
