Monday, Aug. 17 is National Black Cat Appreciation Day at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.For the day, all adoption fees for black cats and kittens will be waived.Normal adoption fees are up to $50 per kitten and include vaccinations, a health-check, microchip and spay/neuter surgery prior to placement. All pets who are four months of age or older also get a rabies vaccine. All cats are tested for FeLv and cats six months of age and older are tested for FIV.
