The iTunes App Store offers Mortal Kombat X for iPhone and iPad for free. Although that may be list price for this fighting and card collection game, it's the first playable version of this new game, which isn't scheduled to be released for consoles until April 14. Once it is released on consoles and PC, cross-platform connectivity will go live, allowing mobile players to influence the title’s new Faction Wars feature.
