Sprint Credit $25 x 2 months: $50 total

Just called into Sprint to see if I could get a credit for using call forwarding while using T-Mobile Test Drive for a week. The rep stated he was unable to offer the credit (~$15) and instead offered a "holiday promotion" that included two $25 credits spread over two months.

My thought is that Sprint is in a panic to hold on to as many customers as possible; the cell phone service industry has become exceptionally competitive with T-Mobile throwing out irresistible offers. I live in San Francisco and Sprint 's data speeds are horrible while T-Mobile has phenomenal speeds in the area. With that being said, Sprint also has excellent speeds in areas of the country where T-Mobile coverage is horrible (but I don't live in those areas). I'm not trying to play sides, but I would like to offer a friendly tip on how you might be able to save some cash.

Some additional information where YMMV:

-I have a SERO plan and have had a Sprint account for years.

-I spoke with Employee Care (that's who all SERO plans are routed through).

The credit is a kind gesture, but I'm not sure that it's enough to keep me hanging on. The T-Mobile plan I have been trying out is exceptional.
