PlayOn is having a sale, lifetime subscription to both PlayOn and PlayLater for $19.99 (usually $69 or so?) plus the HD upgrade is only $5 extra if you buy it at the same time (usually $15). Depending on the devices you have it might be redundant but at the same time it's about the same price as 3 months of Hulu Plus.

In a nutshell, it'sa media server you install on a computer and allows you to access both local videos and online (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon , NBC, etc). My biggest use for it is to be able to watch Hulu on my Xbox and phone without having to pay for Hulu Plus nor worry about mobile content restrictions.
