Here is why this deal is solid:

1.) lowest price of the year
2.) it contains a Samsung panel, the same one in the Samsung ud590. superior mount.
3.) superior connectivity - unlike the Samsung ud590 it can be vesa mounted, AND it has 2 displayport 1.2 connections as opposed to one. (you have to use this to get 60hz because HDMI and DVI get you 30hz at max resolution)
4.) glossy screen; you may be saying "hell no" but for medium to low ambient light circumstances this gets you superior picture quality.A pure matte screen has a very big disadvantage compared to a glossy screen: it considerably reduce the picture quality and clearness. To reduce the amount of reflection, a matte screen diffuses the light coming into the screen to all directions. The problem is that it also diffuse the light coming out of the screen, which creates a little blurriness to the picture. Also, a matte screen reflects more ambient lights. In a bright room, this reduces the perceived contrast ratio.

You can apply font scaling in Windows and Macs in the display settings, which is my preference for these high resolution screens.

DOTA2 runs at 60fps on max settings with a GTX 780. It also outputs a 2560x1600 picture on a second monitor at the same time, for the Google Hangouts videochat with the teammates. Good times.

Pairing a 2560x1600 rez screen with a 4k sucks, because font scaling in Windows isn't uniform between both displays. I haven't tried dual 4k but expect it to work fine on one GTX 780 the way I am using it.
