I searched and tried to buy the Apple iPad Mini 16 GB with retina display (it's the iPad Mini 2 model ME276LL/A ), but Target and Staples were out of the sales items.
I am about a week too late, it seems.
I can get it anyday of the week for $299. However, Rakuten marketplace seller Altatac (95% positive rating) has the Space Gray model for $50 off, free shipping, net $249.99. No tax for most places.
