Today, Apple announced an updated version of its iLife suite of applications – iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band – for both iOS and OS X Mavericks. The apps feature a new cleaner design and upgraded performance. The new version of iPhoto allows you to create Photobooks on the iPad. iMovie allows you to change video speed in the desktop version, or do picture-in-picture in the iOS version. It also features the new iMovie Theater which enables you to view iCLoud stored videos on any device – iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, etc. The new GarageBand for iOS app supports up to 16 tracks and contains the new Drummer feature which provides new drum profiles.

The new version of iLife is available today for free with all new Mac or iOS purchases.
