This webpage looks like it hasn't been updated for a while. The link in the upper right corner of the page confirms that the subscription is free. They will add you to their mailing list, but no one else's (see below).

(Because of the mailing list, this is one of those scenarios where I would use a nickname as my first name that I rarely use. This way I will know junk mail, or non-essential mail, before even opening it.)
